A quick video to show a couple of layer effects and techniques to reproduce a metal effect and basic shading. The end result is a gold metal disc with a nice crimson nautical star all with a basic metallic texture effect.
I've used this effect in the recent Prestige Emblem series. Total runtime to complete this effect is roughly 20 minutes. Enjoy!
