In Numbers 12:6, the Lord says:
“When there is a prophet among you,
I, the LORD, reveal myself to them in visions,
I speak to them in dreams.”

Throughout the Bible, God uses the quiet hours of the night to speak, comfort, warn, guide, and reassure His people.

But for many of us, nighttime can feel unsettling—especially if it has been marked by fear, anxiety, or troubling dreams.

In today’s devotional, I share a personal story of how prayer transformed nighttime from a place of fear into a place of peace and communion with God—by consistently praying Scripture before sleep, including Psalm 91 and St. Patrick’s Evening Hymn.
