Welcome back to the ’68 F100 Restomod Build Series!
In this first episode of the “Wired for Power” series, we start laying the foundation for the full electrical overhaul — but before we dive into wiring, there’s some serious prep work to tackle.

The Coyote drivetrain needed a little attention before we could move forward. I take care of a few mechanical fixes, strip out some of the unnecessary factory wiring, and get the engine bay ready for a complete rewire. Along the way, I install the Ford electronic throttle pedal, mount the brake pedal assembly, and start planning where all the major wiring components will land.

To make life easier, the hood and fenders come off, giving us room to work and a clean canvas for the upcoming wiring episodes. It’s a little messy and all over the place — but that’s how every good build starts.
