In the mayor's race, he said he's known Jack Seiler for 15 years "and I consider him a friend.'' He talked about Cindi Hutchinson's performance and said some people thought she sold out to developers. He also spoke about the case that haunts him: his representation of young murder defendant Lionel Tate.
