Описание: 3rd or 4th IDPA match with my Sig Sauer P226 TACOPS 9mm. I just love this pistol. I come from a 1911/2011 competition background, and spent the last 10 years shooting plastic guns in USPSA/IDPA/3-Gun. Lately I prefer a full metal gun, and something about this Sig, even with its high bore axis and relatively heavy DA trigger, makes it one of my favorite. My gunsmith changed the mainspring and polished a bit internally and it is just a great shooting gun. Due to the aforementioned 1911/2011 high-thumbs shooting grip, I often end up resting my thumb on the slide lock, so the gun doesn't lock back after the last round fired in the magazine. I'm really trying to overcome this tendency, but my new USPSA Production gun is a Tanfoglio Stock 3 with the safety located like a 1911, so my natural grip is still keeping the slide from locking consistently after the last round. My gunsmith even ground down the OEM slide lock lever to nearly match the "nub" that comes stock on my P226 Legion, but as this video shows I need more practice and training to see if I can overcome this habit. It really costs you a lot in IDPA, where I plan to shoot this gun all the time now to cross-train myself with the DA/SA trigger pull for my Tanfoglio Stock 3 in USPSA Production.
