Watch Trinity Part-1: • You've Been Wrong About the Trinity – Here...
Most religions honor Jesus but strip Him of His throne. The debate rages within these false theological systems. Islam calls Him a prophet, not God. Jehovah’s Witnesses reduce Him to an angel. Mormons or Latter-day Saints (LDS) make Him a created being. Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) calls Him a mere man. Judaism rejects Him as Messiah. The Hebrew Roots Movement believes Jesus (Yeshua) is the Messiah but not necessarily co-equal with the Father; they emphasize His role as a Torah-observant rabbi who came to restore law-keeping, often downplaying or rejecting traditional Trinitarian doctrine. One West Black Hebrew Israelites teach that “Yahawashi” (their name for Jesus) is a created being, a powerful black Israelite savior sent only for the physical descendants of Israel; they deny His full divinity and limit His redemptive work to ethnic Israel rather than all nations.
Each movement redefines His identity and mission to fit its theological system, ultimately denying key aspects of His deity and the New Covenant gospel. But the Bible presents Jesus as Yahweh in the flesh, the visible God who does what only God can do.
In this in-depth video, Dr. Shaun Michael walks through the Divine Prerogative Argument, showing that Scripture assigns to Christ the very powers and privileges reserved for the Almighty. Creation (Genesis 1 | John 1:3), worship (Deuteronomy 6:13 | Matthew 14:33), forgiveness of sin (Isaiah 43:25 | Mark 2:5), judgment (Ecclesiastes 12:14 | John 5:22-23), sending the Spirit (Joel 2:28 | John 16:7), eternal pre-existence (Psalm 90:2 | John 8:58), and sinlessness (1 John 1:5 | Hebrews 4:15) are divine acts—yet Jesus claims and performs every one.
That reality forces a verdict. If only God can create, forgive, judge, and receive worship, and Jesus does these things by His own authority, the unavoidable conclusion is clear: Jesus is God.
This episode also dismantles common objections:
-Islam: The Qur’an grants Jesus titles (“Word of God,” “Spirit from God”) it never gives Muhammad, yet denies His deity—an internal contradiction.
-Jehovah’s Witnesses: Thomas calls Jesus “my Lord and my God” (John 20:28) with no rebuke.
Latter-day Saints: Colossians 1:16 declares all things—including heaven’s hosts—were created for Him.
-Iglesia Ni Cristo: Philippians 2:10-11 echoes Isaiah 45:23, saying every knee will bow to Jesus—the worship due only to Yahweh.
-Judaism: Daniel 7:13-14’s “Son of Man” rides the clouds and receives eternal dominion—Yahweh’s own signature action—fulfilled by Christ.
-Hebrew Roots Movement: If Jesus is merely a Torah teacher and not fully divine, how can He be called “the Word made flesh” in John 1:14 or “the image of the invisible God” in Colossians 1:15–17, where all things were created through and for Him?
-One West Black Hebrew Israelites: If Christ came only for ethnic Israel, why does Revelation 5:9 declare that He purchased people “from every tribe and language and people and nation,” and why does Galatians 3:28–29 say that all who belong to Christ—Jew or Gentile—are Abraham’s true offspring?
Philosophically, the incarnation isn’t a contradiction but a hypostatic union—one Person with two distinct natures, divine and human (Philippians 2:6-7; John 1:14; Colossians 2:9). Only such a Savior can both represent man and satisfy God. Other systems either shrink God or deify man; Christianity alone unites holiness, justice, mercy, and logic in one coherent worldview.
This video arms believers for debate and invites seekers, including Muslims, Jehovah's Witnesses (JWs), Latter Day Saints (LDS), Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC), Black Hebrew Israelites (BHI), and atheists, to test truth by Scripture, not tradition. If Jesus truly exercises divine prerogatives, neutrality isn’t an option. He is either blasphemer—or Lord of Glory.
