Can speak at length about a variety of familiar and unfamiliar topics with a good pace and flow, though occasionally relies on self-correction and repetition.

Lexical resource: 6
Has wide enough vocabulary to express a variety of ideas, but some inappropriacies persist, and occasionally uses repetition of certain words. Did not demonstrate an ability to effectively use paraphrasing, advanced lexical terms, or idiomatic language.

Grammatical range & accuracy: 6
Grammatical errors did not effect intelligibility, but certain mistakes persisted throughout the test, especially the misuse of plural form, English articles, and past tense.

Pronunciation: 7
The student was generally easily understood throughout the test, but some negative features persisted, mostly in mixing up short and long vowel sounds.

General comment: The student should be able to effectively communicate in most social settings but should address certain mistakes before entering advanced academic or workplace settings in order to avoid any confusion and ensure clarity.
