My word, can it be any hotter!
So we have all been recycling water back onto the potato fields. With many hundreds of hours watering it’s quite inevitable that problems occur. So on one of the older Briggs hose reels had a pipe wrap error causing pipe to get damaged. The lesson learned here being, check the hose wraps are tight together on the drum before heading off home after pulling out.
The other event this week has been the Caprari pump on the RST unit after 8600hrs spat its dummy out. It’s been a bit odd needing far too many rpm’s then finally broke drive. Not too bad a job.
Fortunately FJS at Manea carry the units and we very nearly had it working that evening.
