Описание: The Bird Gardens of Naples is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on education, the welfare of captive birds, and the conservation of wild species. Currently we are streaming our 3 wildlife boxes & platform (future inhabitants), macaw flight, Crane flight, and Nēnē geese/Ducky cam!

We have camera commands over on our Twitch platform that allows you to control the camera scene from the chat!   / birdgardensofnaples  

Our arguably main camera shows our largest flight on property. It holds MANY macaws, most former rescues or surrenders that are unadoptable for a plethora of reasons. We have expanded the flight, so it can hold dozens of macaws!

Our first on-property wildlife box that you may see on the stream, was installed in December 2024! We have since then installed two more boxes to hopefully attract a barn owl or barred owl pair!

The nest platform you may also see is a modified osprey platform, scaled down to better suit a local Red-Shouldered Hawk's (RSH) smaller size. Like our owl box, it’s mounted atop a repurposed utility pole, offering a sturdy and elevated nesting spot. We’re eager to see if our local RSH, we named Harriet, or another raptor takes an interest this season—or perhaps the next!

The Nēnē goose cam is situated in our goose pen, the species is the only US-native domestic species at the Bird Gardens of Naples — and they’re a threatened species! As of 2022, the wild population of Nēnē geese was estimated at approximately 3,862 individuals worldwide, severely improved from their low of 30 individuals in the '50s! These rare Hawaiian geese are adapted to life on lava fields with thickly-padded feet and can’t fly as well as other geese due to their feet.
