“We have came to the end boys…the last compilation of the “Today on the Island of Sodor” segments. The Season 12 ones probably won’t happen as many of those airings are lost and PBS Retro won’t air them.
“…well, PBS Retro didn’t air them, but we now have all the Season 12 airings, so that statement didn’t last.
Anyway, these are all of the openings from the Season 12 airing blocks! These are pretty special as there’s airings that were shown that were considered “lost” for quite some time. But we now finally have all the opening segments! Most of which were sourced from @ThomasPBSarchive , but one of the airings (Good Turns) were from HM1994, and the last airing (Mistakes) is from @BrandonHargus .
The quality definitely varies as they’re not from PBS Retro. And some of the airings aren’t complete. Right Tracks is a prime example. I’m also not sure if I grew up with any of these airings, I recall seeing some episodes on TV like Rosie’s Carnival Special, but I have no idea if they’re from Sprout.
I wanna give a HUGE thanks to my buddy @TalezChip for fixing the aspect ratio on Good Turns!
