"Pansy Ho Chiu-king Takes You to Visit Beijing" photographing event kicked off in Beijing recently

Описание: To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to China, a themed photographing event entitled "Pansy Ho Chiu-king Takes You to Visit Beijing", also a preparation for the Beijing-Macao Photographic Exhibition entitled “The Cultural Line of the Two Cities and the Lotus Blooming in Flourishing Age”, was kicked off in Beijing recently. The photographing event was sponsored by the General Association of Macao Beijing Organization, China Foundation for Cultural Heritage Conservation, Beijing Central Axis Protection Foundation, and Shun Tak Holdings.

Pansy Ho Chiu-king, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee and president of the General Association of Macao Beijing Organization, together with eight teenage students who come from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Macao took a trip to the Bell and Drum Towers and the Xiannong Altar along Beijing Central Axis. By photography of these historical heritage sites, they enjoyed the magnificent scenery and got a strong impression of the rich national cultural heritages.

The "Pansy Ho Chiu-king Takes You to Visit Beijing" photographing event is a part of the Beijing-Macao Photographic Exhibition. With the support from Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, the United Front Work Department of Beijing Municipality, National Cultural Heritage Administration, Beijing Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau and Beijing Women’s Federation, the photographic exhibition will be held in Beijing and Macao respectively in August and September.

The photo works made during this photographing event will be presented at the exhibition to showcase the cultural inheritance and development, and prosperity of the Beijing Central Axis in the new era. （Video：人民政协报）
