Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews says Melbourne landmarks will be lit up in pink to honour the passing of Olivia Newton-John and the contribution she made to cancer awareness.
Ms Newton-John was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992 and battled the disease for 30 years before passing peacefully in her home in southern California.
The star contributed to the design of the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre adjacent to the Austin Hospital campus in Melbourne, which offers complimentary services to those getting treated for the disease.
