I ran to a burned down house to see what survived after the fire.
What I found was an intact outbuilding and a buried food cellar.
In this episode, I run out to the old site to see what remains. The main house is gone, reduced to rubble — but I wasn’t expecting to find the long outbuilding still standing, or the old food cellar buried inside a man-made mound, still intact after all this time.
Sometimes fire destroys the structure, but parts of the story remain.
