🗓 Day 1 – Arrival in Vizag + INS Kursura Submarine Museum

Reached Visakhapatnam by train in the afternoon.

Headed straight to RK Beach Road and explored the iconic
🔹 INS Kursura Submarine Museum – A real Indian Navy submarine turned museum.
Learn about life inside a submarine.
Walk through the narrow passages and compartments.
Great for photography and naval history lovers.
Sunset by the beach, local street food (murri mixture, seafood stalls).
Overnight stay in Vizag.

🕒 Timing: 2:00 PM to 8:30 PM

🗓 Day 2 – Vizag to Araku Day Trip

🚗 Started early morning around 6:00 AM from Vizag by cab/train towards Araku (~3–4 hrs).

🔹 1. Borra Caves

Ancient limestone caves with stalactites & stalagmites.
Formations like “Shiva-Parvati”, “Mother & Child”, “Crocodile” etc.

Cool interior, dramatic lighting & interesting geology.
📍 Timing: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
🎫 Entry Fee: ₹60 (approx.)

🔹 2. Araku Valley Viewpoints

Stopped at valley viewpoints on the way up.
Surreal mountain views, tribal villages, and forest-covered slopes.
Ideal for photos & drone shots.

🔹 3. Araku Coffee Plantation Tour

Walked through local organic Arabica plantations.
Saw coffee beans drying, met tribal farmers.
Bought local Araku Coffee to take home.
Great for nature & culture lovers.

🔹 4. Ananthagiri Waterfalls

Hidden gem near Ananthagiri village.
Short 15-20 min walk from main road.
Serene waterfall surrounded by forest and hill trees.
Ideal to relax before the return trip.

🚌 Returned to Vizag by late evening (~7:30 PM).
🥘 Had dinner near the railway station/local dhaba.
