Guwahati (Assam), June 09 (ANI): Two Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs Nandita Garlosa and Jayanta Malla Baruah were sworn in as Ministers in the Himanta Biswa Sarma Cabinet on June 09. This was the first Cabinet reshuffle of the Himanta Biswa Sarma-led Cabinet after he was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Assam. Both the Ministers took oath in presence of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and other Cabinet Ministers. The oath was administered by Governor Professor Jagadish Mukhi.Speaking to ANI, MLA Jayanta Malla Baruah said, “I have been given huge responsibility by Chief Minister. PHC department is his most important topic. This will be challenging for me and I will put in a lot of effort. All 3 departments given to me are very important, it will be my responsibility to take them forward.”(NK)
