Unfortunately right now the best things to do in Saskatoon is your everyday shopping so a small drugstore haul. So welcome to boring life on the prairies....

The city of Saskatoon is on the Saskatchewan river, created around the shores of the South Saskatchewan River. Saskatoon is the largest city in Saskatchewan and is a cultural hub with many theatres, restaurants, art galleries, music venues and historic buildings. It is located along the Trans-Canada Yellowhead Highway, and has served as the cultural and economic hub of central Saskatchewan since it was founded in 1882. The city has beautiful scenery and some amazing running and biking trails along the river. Saskatoon is also known as "The City of Bridges", since it has five functional bridges connecting the riverbanks. In downtown Saskatoon The Bessborough Hotel is known as the castle on the river and is often an iconic structure in photos of Saskatoon. The Hotel helped to set the tone for surrounding parks, hotels and architecture. There are many historic neighbourhoods in Saskatoon include Nutana and Riversdale which were separate towns before amalgamating with the town of Saskatoon and incorporating as a city in 1906. Located just minutes away from the downtown area, the University of Saskatchewan is one of Canada's most prestigious universities, providing academics in almost every field imaginable.
