Onboard JetBlue’s Final Embraer 190 Flight

Описание: After 20 years of service, JetBlue has retired its Embraer 190 fleet. These Brazilian-built regional jets had never flown in North America until JetBlue's (also Brazilian) founder David Neeleman shocked the airline industry by ordering 100.

Although JetBlue only took 60 E190s, it became the backbone of its New England operations and helped launch service to new markets. It also ran a shuttle between New York and Boston, which was symbolically chosen to be the last flight. After years of high maintenance costs and engine issues, JetBlue ordered the Airbus A220 to directly replace the aging Embraers.
