For the Shi'ite consciousness, the twelfth Imam represents the esoteric fulfillment of the prophetic mission of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
The parousia of the Imam is awaited as the reign of spiritual liberty, the advent of the Paraclete.
From the eschatological dimension, he is envisaged as the Redeemer

Two important events mark his existence, encompassing thus the eschatological dimension.

-The Minor Occultation (Ghaybat al-Sughra) from 874-941
Shīʿah Islam believes that in 873, after the death of his father al-'Askari, the eleventh Imam, the 12th Imam was hidden from the authorities of the `Abbasid caliphate as a precaution. 

-The Major Occultation (Ghaybat al-Kubra)
denotes the second, longer portion of the Occultation, which continues to the present day.

Every year, on the night of 13 to 15 Sha'ban, Shia Iran celebrates an event that is inherent in Iran's tradition: the birthday of the Imam in the year 255 H / 868 B.C.E, the Imam of our time, the Redeemer

In most traditions, the Mahdi will arrive with Jesus (Isa) to defeat Masih ad-Dajjal ( the false "Messiah" or Antichrist).
The concept of the Mahdi is not an essential doctrine in Sunni Islam, but both Shia and Sunni Islam agree that he will rule over the Muslims and establish justice.

According to some interpretations of the Quran, throughout the history of human life, the earth has never been without divine leaders and Allah has selected an appropriate man for every nation.

The first part of the video is a short introduction.

The series of the "Hidden-Monarch - The Lord of the World"
encompass three major aspects that merge into the eschatological dimension.

The first aspect is mostly known as the Advent of the Parousia at the end of the time. The reign of the spiritual liberty.
It is represented by the coming of God Himself, either through the representation of an Avatara or through different Manifestations;
with the expectation of Parousia, as a Theophanic descent in our plane of manifestation. Jesus Christ, Buddha Maitreya, Kalki Avatara, Imam al-Mahdi, etc.

The second aspect represents the perpetual Legislators that regent a cycle of existence, thus maintaining a bridge through the mediation of God and our world, most commonly through Prophets or the highest initiates.
These Universal Legislators are Melki-Tsedeq, al-Khidr, Menes, Raja-Chakravarti, etc.

The third aspect which is mainly overlooked comprises the hidden heroes namely the legendary figures who have remained in suspended animation through the entire course of a cycle until the end of the world; aroused from their occultation to assume the final role of redeemers.
King Arthur, Frederic Barbarossa, Keresaspa, Kashyapa, Stephan the Great, Alexander the Great, Marko Kralevici, Prester John, etc.
