Rebel icon Ernesto "Che" Guevara was laid to rest in a mausoleum in Santa Clara on Friday (17/10) some 30 years after his death in Bolivia.
Santa Clara was "liberated" by Guevara in 1958 in one of his more famous attacks that led to the downfall of dictator Fulgencio Batista. The city is considered the fallen hero's adoptive city.
