In today's video me and my son Will fish Guntersville Lake in mid-March. With the water temp in the upper 50's to low 60 in some areas the bass are moving toward the banks and are getting closer to the spawn.
We are following the 5-foot contour line on the map and find fish roaming the ditches and flats just outside of their spawning areas. After throwing several different baits early we find that they prefer the chatter bait and are knocking slack in the line when they hit it.
