Watch as bodycam footage captures the arrest of George Ness, hours after he brutally murdered 63-year-old John Smyth in Wallsend. Ness, 41, was sentenced to life in prison after violently attacking Mr. Smyth with a heavy wooden object, leaving him with fatal head injuries. Despite refusing to cooperate with officers, Ness was arrested at Wallsend Metro station and later found guilty. He must now serve at least 22 years behind bars for this horrific crime.
