Описание: This AFN Bremerhaven report aired in 1980 and is about Northern German Tradition of having community parties and walks in the winter. The center of the party is the cooking of Pinkel, which is a smoked Kaszanka (German:Grützwurst), a type of sausage which is eaten with kale (Grünkohl) in Northwest Germany, especially in the region around Oldenburg, Bremen and Osnabrück. Thanks to the family of Horst Monk for inviting us to their celebration. This video aired on the American Forces Radio and Television (AFN) Network in Europe and was reported by Specialist Jeff Titchenal.
