I think most of us can recognize today that our politics are broken.
Our political conversations aren’t real conversations.
The way we discuss and debate politics divides us (it certainly doesn't unite us).
Our political discussions are oftentimes foolish, lacking substantive and depth.
And as we see in the case of Charlie Kirk, the nature of our political dialogue can lead to extreme and horrible actions.
Now we can complain about this. We can have the same fights back and forth.
Or we can take some time to figure out: how can we correct this?
How can we improve this in some sort of noticeable and beneficial manner?
So I would like to make a number of videos trying to figure that out. And I’d like to start today with a simple question:
Why should we have political conversations at all?
