Malachite Can break in hot water and it's toxic
Mica Will flake apart

Muscovite Will flake apart
Obsidian All forms can break from extreme liquid temperatures
Opals Can break or crack in extreme liquid temperatures
Pearls Will lose luster and can break
Pyrite Combined with water produces sulfuric acid
Selenite Can dissolve
Turquoise Will fade
Ulexite Will dissolve
Dyed Agates and other dyed stones Will fade

Crystals that have already been wire wrapped should not be soaked in salt water.
