Darkified were a Swedish blackened death metal band active from 1991 to 1992. In 1995 Repulse Records released the first compact disc release by Darkified, which was a compilation that featured their 1991 tape demo and 1992 7" EP. Their lineup included drummer Jocke Göthberg from Marduk and bassist/vocalist Roberth Karlsson who was the vocalist for one of Edge of Sanity's albums and multiple Pan.Thy.Monium releases. Vic Records released another Darkified compilation called 'Cthulu Riseth' in 2012 that included five live tracks and one rehearsal track in addition to the materials included on the 'A Dance on the Grave' compilation.
