Editor’s note: When I searched for the Facebook post about Finnick’s death so that I could put the image in the video, I saw a comment that made a pretty good point. They basically said that if Gale hadn’t died, Peeta would have been the default and Katniss wouldn’t have had to choose between them, and that it was important that she made the choice. I think that’s a decent point.
