Earlier this month, (December 3rd to be exact) the last surviving member of Easy Company, Edward Shames died aged 99. Along with a couple of outside pushes and suggestions, this inspired me to make a 501st Legion intro in the style of the HBO series Band of Brothers. Besides being an absolute fit, this video was a joy to make. Even though this intro centers around our glamorous 501st fellas, I would like us to remember the brave men of the second world war who sacrificed everything to secure the freedom of our nation. It is not only our duty, but our privilege to ensure that their courage and sacrifice do not go to waste.
