Hi there! After another very long absence, I am finally back to hopefully produce and edit many more videos much more often than I have been. Because I haven't uploaded in over two months (+1 day), I knew that my first new video would have to be a special one, so for the first time in over a year I am remaking my "it's a small world" Disneyland Original 1966 complete soundtrack, because I do now admittedly have much more extensive knowledge of several tracks and their locations in the ride, and I also fixed a few inaccuracies present in my previous version of this video. For one, the video is much longer than before, as the longest I've ever done in 48 minutes. I also have several additional audio tracks in their respective locations that weren't present before, and many of the previously existing tracks have been updated to be even more accurate. This includes several pitch corrected tracks (Spain, South Africa), additional tracks (Safety spiels, separate North Pole/Sweden, Swedish Band W/ British vocals, African Drums, Mexican Market, Tahiti), and many other alterations and improvements to various tracks (Clock Parade fanfare, no Big Ben sounds in England, and generally improved volume, especially for instrumentals, throughout). There is another major improvement, that there are usually three images for every version of the song, while some versions still have only one or two images because that was all of the images I could find of those scenes from the early years after the ride opened at Disneyland (1966-72). Yes, all of the images in this video were taken no later than 1972 (with very few exceptions), found on various different internet sites (Plus my 1969 BofA souvenir book) and compiled by me for this video (None of them are owned by me). The only exceptions are a few 1973-75 Clock Parade & Finale images, but even most of those fit the 1966-72 timeframe. This whole soundtrack was composed by either Bobby Hammack for the 1964-65 New York Worlds Fair version of the ride (Most of these tracks also used in most versions since then), or Buddy Baker for the 1966 additions for Disneyland's version, such as most of the South Pacific, as well as North Pole just after Welcome. Much of this audio is still used today and and I believe many, if not all of the masters I used are remastered ones from the 21st century, although otherwise the audio is exactly the same as the actual audio used in the 1966 version of the ride. One of if not the only exception is the North Pole audio, which despite being made in 1966 was never released by Disney, and was recreated by Ratator3700 and I used it with his permission for this video. HUGE thanks to Ratator for making that recreation and letting me use it, it means a lot and is very appreciated!! Also, huge thanks to RedzRobinz, The Disney Fan Cat, and several others on the it's small world Discord servers for finding some of these great images, while others were found myself. I could make a mono version of this video in their future, but I'm happy with this for now. Generally, this is a much longer, clearer, and more extensive version of my previous 1966 complete soundtrack, complete with many improvements and I am pretty happy with how this video turned out and I hope you are too. Also, if you're wondering why I haven't uploaded as much in the past few months, that's because the last school year was my senior year of high school, and being enrolled in my school's early college program meant that I had a much larger workload than previous years, & less time to focus on videos. But thankfully, as of June 16 I finally finished and graduated high school, and am looking forward to a more enjoyable and refreshing gap year as I figure out where I would like to go to college, as well as enjoy much more free time to basically make up for the dearth I had in the last school year. I did get pretty good to great grades throughout school so I'm optimistic about my future even if some more hard work might be involved. But despite that, I plan on having a lot more exciting videos this Summer and beyond, and I hope you enjoy them, starting with this complete soundtrack!
I do not own any of the audio, images, or soundtrack used in this video. All audio rights go to Disney (Except Ratators North Pole), and all image rights go to their respective owners. Primary image sources, and the last version of this video, linked below. Also, I need to tell you that Ratators North Pole recreation was made by him and that you're not allowed to use it without his permission. Thank you!
