Jacob died this June but he'll live forever in the songs he left behind, in every thing he said and did, each as beautiful as it was horrendous, carved in our souls, and in those moments alone walking through some place in this nowhere town thinking "fuck, me and jacob did this there". I knew this demo existed because Sandro showed me once at an airport and we've been awaiting his release from jail to dig it out his email because this is the only recording there is of this song and nobody has heard it. These lyrics are an early draft because I remember lines differently, "I'm far too busy being fucking alone" became "I'm far too busy packing my next cone", the chorus was prefixed with "I'm sorry mum but I'm a....", and other subtle changes that are fading from memory as this version solidifies itself within our neocortices as the one and only and I'm fine with that because it's perfect. Love you brother, rest easy.
