KATHY BATES DESERVED ABSOLUTELY ALL THE PRAISE AND AWARDS SHE HAD EARNED FROM THIS PERFORMANCE. Kathy Bates was PERFECT for *Misery*!! I love her so much and think she is a PHENOMENAL actress and it was such a joy to react to one of her movies. The overall concept behind the film is equally terrifying as well as it is plausible. (Thank you Stephen King)
