Hello Westlake Warrior Eagles and welcome to week five of distance learning. This week we are going to be reenacting a work of art.
Between Art and Quarantine is an art challenge, which originated in Amsterdam, from @tussenkunstenquarantine on Instagram at the beginning of the Covid-19 quarantine.
Your challenge is to Choose ONE work of art from the document titled “Works of Art to Reenact” on Google Classroom.
Use items in your home to reenact the work of art you have chosen (you can include other members of your household, like siblings and parents, as long as they are willing participants).
Photograph yourself reenacting the artwork and submit your image under “Classwork” on Google Classroom.
Here are some examples of how others have reenacted their chosen work of art. Pay close attention to the materials they use, the poses they take, and the way they mimic the colors, patterns, textures, and emotions to make their artwork come to life.
