💬“And as a family, we often went to the Kebun Raya [Botanical Gardens] on weekends. Walking around, it was very beautiful and quiet. Of course, [there was] the pond, with the big lotus leaves, the ‘Victoria Regia’. The story is, and I don’t know if it’s true, that my mother put me on top of the leaves when I was a baby and I would not sink. The leaves were like one and a half metres wide, so they could carry a small child. I don’t know if this really happened, but I'd like to think it did.”
