"Start to Finish seems to be about the farewell of two loved ones. But many other unpredictable, strange things happen as well, as in real life. Lightfoot and León create a fragile world of vulnerable human beings who appear not to have total control over their emotions or over the situations that lead to these emotions. They experience them with astonishment, sometimes incomprehension - but always with unhesitating naturalness. What is so fascinating about Lightfoot and León is their ability to evoke all this through dance alone. Their movement idiom is extremely complex and absolutely unpredictable, yet its madness embodies a strange poetic harmony and logic."
