⛰ Bouldering at City of Rocks | Southern Idaho

Описание: I didn't plan on bouldering while visiting City of Rocks, but I couldn't help myself. It was like I was ten years old again climbing trees in the backyard. My plan was to snowshoe at City of Rocks, but there wasn't enough snow! We're in January now and some ski resorts here in Idaho still aren't fully open. City of Rocks is located in Southern Idaho, about an hour south of Burley where I was hanging out for the weekend. City of Rocks is a climbing mecca, but in the winter it empties out and you can snowshoe, boulder, and camp in peace and quiet. After exploring City of Rocks I made my way over to Castle Rocks to check out some ancient pictographs. Pair this adventure with skiing at Pomerelle and you have yourself a weekend. Camping permitted year round.
