PerMix PTS series Ploughshare Mixer is so versatile that it can handle nearly all types of materials including dry powders, granular materials, short fibered substances, moist solids with liquids, pasty materials and highly viscous masses and mix them at a very short time to high homogenious degree.
We can supply these machines for continuous work when a large capacity per hour is needed for the same material or when the process demands that. Continuous mixers differ from batch mixers in the way that the mass flow of the product is from the inlet of the container to the discharge at the opposite end, where the product overflows a dam inside the mixer.
This PTSC 200 mixer was designed to mix Tomato powders with a free flowing agent, at a total capacity of 1 ton/Hr. On it's main product feeding point we added a lump breaker in order to deal with the big lumps arriving from the spray dryer cooler and two side choppers to break the small lumps into powder. A Volumetric feeded is responsible to add the FF powder at the right capacity, All the process, including : speed, temp., FF capacity, were PLC controlled.
