I'm continuing work on the 1981 Cadillac Deville with 368 8-6-4 engine. I'm still trying to get it to run properly and the ignition system hasn't been serviced in a very long time. So, I'm going to go through the entire ignition system so that I'm sure it is not contributing to the rough running. To do that, I will replace all the main ignition components, except for the distributor magnetic pickup. To change the pickup requires removing the distributor and I don't want to do that unless I'm sure it is necessary.
