In this video Little Orangutan Arga gets playtime with his Big Sister Kesuma ! Unusually this time, its not Arga instigating the playtime tumble, but Kesuma, who spots an opportunity to grab her little brother Arga, and pull him down out of the sack he is in swinging from the big oak tree
Mom Subis is watching nearby but decides not to intervene and let the kids have fun and play !
In the video sweet little Arga can be see climbing the big oak tree, where he makes a swing from a sack and uses it to swing in - a favourite pass time for the kids in this adorable orangutan family !

Sumatran Orangutans are an endangered species of Great Ape, threatened to the edge of extinction, due to the ongoing destruction of the Environment in their native homeland of The Indonesian Island of Sumatra. The destruction of their native forests is largely to make way for the planting of palm oil, which is used in the manufacture of many products in developed nations, such as food products and cleaning products.
Baby Orangutans at Chester Zoo
Chester Zoo is the only Zoo in the UK to House and Care for Sumatran Orangutans. They are part of the breeding program for this important and vulnerable species, ensuring there is a strong genic population in zoos and wildlife centres across the world, essential for the future survival of these magnificent animals.
These rare Sumatran Baby Orangutans are absolutely adorable and so much fun to watch, Young Sumatran Orangutans interact with each other and learn from the behaviours of other Orangutans in their Family group.
