Описание: This video reminds me that family is the source of my creativity and love. When my first grandchild was born in 2015 it proved to be the catalyst for a series of memories and impressions from the birth of my two sons. I had this profound realisation that I was part of a universal narrative. I felt so tiny and yet so much a part of a force larger than me...love moving through the human seasons.
As much a force of nature as the four seasons we are familiar with, the word we give this force of love is 'family': compelling, infuriating, mystical and profane, 'family' shapes us.
Sure it can make us. Sure it can break us.
Either way we are forever in its orbit.
I clap at 8pm on Thursday's for the inspirational work the NHS performs in saving the physical health of patients. I also say a silent prayer for my family who are-and have always been-the protectors of my mental health.

Spare a thought for those poor souls who lack family.
