Описание: SEA Games 2025: Agatha Wong wins sixth career wushu gold

BANGKOK—Wushu standout Agatha Wong gave Team Philippines its 16th gold in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games on Sunday at Ratthaprasasanphakdi Building Government Complex here.

Wong ruled the women’s taijiquan and taijijian event after garnering 9.783 points to add another gold to her impressive resume in the regional showcase.

Taijiquan and taijijian, combined as a single event for the second straight time, is a performance routine with the winner to be determined through judging.

Brunei’s Lachkar Basma posted 9.780 points to take the silver while Singapore’s Law Zeanne Zhi Ning had 9.766 points for bronze.

It was Wong’s sixth career SEA Games gold, adding to her taijiquan wins in the 2017, 2019 and 2021 editions and taijijian in 2019 and 2021.

She won two years ago in Cambodia when taijiquan and taijijian became a single event.

The 27-year-old also had silvers in 2017 (taijijian) and 2021 (taijiquan).
