Due to their extreme persistence in the environment, global leaders are proposing newer and stricter regulations to combat the presence of PFAS. Countries like the US, have enforced PFAS regulations and states like Maine, have banned PFAS in consumer products in 2023, while the EU has published the PFAS restriction proposal by Feb 2023.
