I had to give up my GE Opal Ice Maker Gen 2 after 4 years because the auger went and I didn't have to strength (mentally or physically) to take apart the entire machine and get it replaced. I decided to buy a new ice maker instead. I've been loyal to the nugget machine since helping to Kickstart the original Firstbuild model in 2016.
