WHY? comes from an idea of Giuseppe Stampone (www.giuseppestampone.com), and takes the form of a neodimensional project in the context of Solstizio. A video camera focuses on a face and a voice of a person who in a few seconds tries to discuss a question about the most urgent social issues of our time. the same interview is repeated for all participants, in all languages, then edited together to form a long film of different words and interpretations of the same theme. the films are shown on web platforms and connection devices, increasing in number and spreading awareness. Why? has roots in many works by Giuseppe Stampone and projects of Solstizio, which it crosses, increasing their force of expansion. the structure is similar to that of the web, so it is able to touch the single territory and the global world, addressing issues like emigration, war and environmental problems.
