This video was recorded 3 months ago and I wasn't very good at recording back then so sorry for that. Anyways, this is a small town in a flood zone in Guthrie Oklahoma. This part if town would constantly get battered by floods until finally everyone moved and this is the remains of that part of town. I can't find anything about it on the internet. Starting to wonder if it's being hidden from public eyes.
I don't know how true this statement is but, from several people who live in Guthrie, this was where Black people lived during segregation. Once again I'm not sure how true this is simply because I cannot research it anywhere. So, this is the closest thing to the real story as I can get.
"The government threw em out here, you know during segregation. Sad time in our history but that's what happened, eventually they were allowed to move on into another spot in guthrie because the floods kept deystorying everything."
The floods there would reach all the up into the old train station ( now a restaurant), which means this part would be completely submerged under thousands upon thousands of tons of rushing water and debris, no wonder all we see is the foundations of a few lucky house.
Anyways please like and subscribe, drop a comment and share, it took alot of work to get these videos and to edit them. Thank you for watching!
