Ever wonder what the coolest thing made in California might be? Well, right now, there’s a competition to find out. The California Manufacturers & Technology Association opened up nominations in mid-August, and voting began in early September. The "Coolest Thing Made In California" completion first yielded over 100 companies. But at this point, the top 8 have now been decided — and a very small, family-run Sacramento business is among the final few.
