東京オリンピックのボランティア通訳として参加しました。
札幌ドームでの活動と青森から北海道までの旅の思い出をこのビデオで纏めました。
函館で渡辺さんに出会って、忘れられない一日になりました。
四年に一度のオリンピックが東京で行うなら参加します。
3年間東京や仙台に通訳やオリンピックのボランティアの活動について色んなセミナーに通いました。車や電車で鹿島スタジアムや札幌ドームまで移動して、試合後は選手達と記者の皆さんの間に入って、三つのマスクをつけて短い間通訳頑張りました。忙しいかった一週間でしたが選手達の色んな表情を見て何回も鳥肌が立った。
1964年のオリンピックから57年後の東京2020にボランティアとして参加出来てありがたいです。
『もう一度と参加したいですか？』っと聞かれたら、もちろん『はい！』と答えます❣️
3 years of learning about the Olympic rules and interpretation at seminars in Tokyo and Sendai seemed long for me. I can only imagine how long it felt for the athletes to join the games. I volunteered for about about a week in Kashima and Sapporo Dome and even though my part of volunteering and interpreting between the athletes and the journalists was short I got the goosebumps so many times while watching various feelings on the participants’ facial expressions. After 57 years Tokyo hosted the Olympic Games one more time, I am grateful I was a small part of Tokyo 2020 and I would do it again if I had to. Thank you.
