Jessie Camarillo is the Director of Technology Partnerships at Workforce Solutions Capital Area. She has eight years of experience in strategic planning with the last five years spent supporting the local tech industry through digital marketing, workforce development, and her DEIB expertise. In her current role Jessie convenes tech leaders who proactively identify and act on opportunities to grow the Austin tech industry through the lens of local workforce development. Jessie uses community-building to drive an employer-led, regional, and easily accessible workforce development framework that supports a thriving tech industry. As an Austin AI Ecosystem member, Jessie is a passionate advocate for responsible innovation and is excited to be part of shaping the next industrial revolution.

Ed Cabezas is a Lead at World Business Chicago, where he focuses on business development, and talent & workforce strategy also serving on the DEI committee at WBC. Ed holds a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences Degree in Political Science from Northeastern Illinois University. He also holds a Certificate from UIC Law in Fair Housing & Fair Lending used for advocating for housing-insecure populations. Also, a 2023 National Fellow for AmeriCorps, and Lead for America, Regional Outreach Representative. Ed is also a Board Member of the Illinois Local Government Hispanic Network I.L.G.H.N. and serves as its membership chair. Previously, Ed worked as a community organizer on the southwest side of Chicago, where he returned to his community to assist his local underrepresented community during the pandemic.
