Ok guys,

Today I'm going to give you a detailed review and analysis of TranTutors and Is it worth to spend money on Transtutors.

Who owns TransTutors?

Transtutors is started in 2006 by two Indian partner Aditya & Nishant based in US.. They are involved with multiple other tutoring companies as well.

The tutors on TransTutors are mostly Indians. As English isn't their first langue so the quality of solutions is highly affected by that. 

Transtutors Subscription price?

It costs $20/month for the available or answered solutions only. There's a ton of unanswered questions on the site for which they demand a $50 payment in advance no matter what the question is.

Also there's no guarantee that it will be answered or the if the solution quality would be of a required standard. 

No need worry as I can unlock any link from sites like TransTutors, Chegg, StuDocu, OneClass, CourseHero and many others.

Quality of Answers/Solutions

A quick Google search shows around 1.1 million pages ranked from transtutors domain while they claim to have over 4 million "questions and answers" posted on the site.

As previously mentioned, almost all tutors are based in India so the quality of solutions isn't good. 

"Expert Tutors" at the platform also complain of low payout to them. It usually ranges from a few cents to a couple of dollars per assignment.
Most of the questions answered on Transtutors are already available on Chegg.

I suspect that they are copying content from Chegg including questions and answers. 

They are trying to present themselves as Chegg alternative.

Fake Reviews

Biggest issue with transtutors is the fake reviews. Offsite and onsite as well. 

Offsite fake reviews are posted on online reviews sites like Trust Pilot, Site jabber and others. 

On site reviews on all questions are fixed. 5 star rating from 9 votes which is very unethical and gives a false image. They are clearly afraid of the real user reviews because the solutions quality isn't good at all. 

Unanswered Questions!

A huge problem with TransTutors is the unanswered questions on the site. It seems they have crawled similar sites for questions and then posted them on the website unanswered. 

On these unanswered questions, you will always see a fixed PDF document link called "Solution.PDF" which isn't a document at all but infact link to a page which will demand you to pay $50 in advance to post this solution for you. 

There's no guarantee that the question will be answered in the given timeframe and will be of the required quality. 

A cool way to know in advance if a question is answered or not is to look at the search result or tabs in your browser. If it says "Solved" it means it's answered and if it says "Get Answer" that means it's answered and you will need to pay in advance to post and get a solution for this one. 

Conclusion

In conclusion, although there are some solutions on TransTutors but they are mostly of low quality. Most of the site is filled with unanswered questions which is problematic and quite deceitful to the users. 

Fake reviews is also a huge issue for the site. I wouldn't recommend this generally but you might sometimes find you question posted at TransTutors only and that might be answered as well.
