There are many ways to modify the saturation within the image, however, many rely on either fully subtractive or fully additive behaviour — or a blend between the two. Hybrid Saturation introduces a new method that combines subtractive behaviour for primary colours — creating rich, dense reds, greens, and blues — with additive behaviour for secondary colours to produce vibrant, energetic yellows, cyans, and magentas, while hues in between receive a balanced mix of the two.
