I put a Hyper Pro rear shock on my Honda CRF300L in 2022.
It was set up for a 250 lb rider. As you can see, it is waaaay too soft for someone my size. And I'm only 230 with minimal gear.
I took the Hyperpro shock off and sent back to EPM Performance to look at it.
Not sure if it needs heavier oil, different valves or spring.... Stay tuned.
I also upgraded the front springs and that feels a lot better.
Unfortunately, you can not adjust the rebound dampener which seems to come into play when I'm going uphill and hit a rock. It throws me back pretty hard if I don't have good body position.
