Описание: Madgaokars protested against the hike in power tariffs, in front of the Margao Municipality on Saturday. Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai along with his supporters staged a protest outside Margao Municipal Council by burning electricity bills, opposing the recent power tariff hike. The government has recently announced a steep hike of 2 % to 4%. This hike will burden the common people. The protestors warned of intensifying the agitation if the government fails to roll back the hike.
